MELODIES was a Framework 7 project funded by the European Union. The aim of the project was to develop a technological platform for the development of environmental services using open data. Eight services will be developed using this platform.

Jon Styles led the project’s Sustainability of Services work package, to enhance the long-term sustainability of the services and to support them taking a prominent role within Europe’s data value chain. Bethan Perkins coordinated the Dissemination and Outreach work package to ensure that information about the MELODIES project is available to key stakeholders and the wider community.
